Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is likely affected by an air depression for four days from Tuesday, July 30,2024 till Friday, August 2, 2024, Oman Meteorology said.
The latest forecasts and analyses from the National Multi Hazards Early Warning Center Hazards indicate that the weather in the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by an extension of a low-pressure system in the Arabian Sea, starting from the evening of Tuesday, 30 July, until Friday, 02 August 2024. It is expected that clouds will advected over most of the governorates, with chances of isolated rain of varying intensity, occasionally thundershowers, leading to the flow of wadis and some flash floods.
Experts at the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Center are monitoring the developments of the weather condition and urge public to follow the issued bulletins and reports.
